NORTH CURRY BREWERY
We set up the Brewery in the summer of 2006 having previously worked in various other industries. Our brewery is situated some 100 metres from the original brewery in Church Road, North Curry. We are now housed in the Old Coach House, behind Gwyon House, which dates from the early 14th century.
Set up as a microbrewery we have steadily expanded the amount of beer we produce and the levels of equipment and expertise used. We are truly a family run business with the father owning the business, brother in law helping with brewing, one son as chief of advertising and marketing, and any other family members helping out bottling. We started off producing Red Heron ale and we now have increased our ales to five, which include seasonal beers.
All North Curry ales are produced by traditional methods and are brewed using only the four essential ingredients of top-quality English malt, predominantly English hops, water and yeast. The absence of artificial additives means there is less risk of a nasty hangover!

Torre Cider Farm has been producing traditional scrumpy for over 20 years, ranging from extra dry to medium sweet cider, as well as making our delicious fresh apple juice. We also sell the ever popular cider vinegar which has an array of interesting uses, so there is something for everyone.
The trees are a mixture of cider apples, dessert apples and cooking apples. We currently have 3 ciders on offer, all scrumpys, a dry, a medium-dry and a medium-sweet cider. Look out during the year for special blends we are working on. All ciders and apple juice are available for free tasting and purchase in the farm shop throughout the year.
