Stefano's Food is a family-run business which brings a piece of the Amalfi coast to Somerset & Devon. We cook a wide range of regional Italian and European dishes using fresh, local and high-quality ingredients. You can find our food at a wide range of farmers’ markets, monthly food markets and food festivals. We have a Mobile Pizzeria to cook our homemade, authentic, stone-baked pizzas all over South West England and are also available for private event catering, such as weddings, celebrations, dinner parties and corporate events with all of our food. We also offer a wide range of olives & antipasti, as well as artisan salami, salsiccia & limoncello.
Jules, my wife, joined me full-time last year. We had always enjoyed going to Burnham-on-Sea festival and working together, so Jules started getting involved in all of our markets and running the office whilst learning our olive “husbandry”. Recently she has started baking some different breads and will also be running our vegetable gardens over the growing season with our daughter, Lucia.
I love to cook all of the Italian classics such as Meatballs in a Ragù Sauce, Aubergine Parmigiana & Tiramisù, not forgetting Pizza, Calzoni & traditional Neopolitan Saltimbocca, and I also like to include other European influences in my cooking. Over the years, I have worked in the kitchen with people of different nationalities who love food and enjoy their profession. Food cooked with passion, energy, experience and great ingredients has got to be good!! Our menu changes weekly and we also usually have a wide range of frozen dishes available. You can find our delicious, high-quality, homemade ready meals at these markets.
